Perfume Across The Ages (Infographic)

The word perfume originates from the Latin phrase per translating as “through and “fumus” translating  as “smoke”. The fashion later gave the name “parfum” because of the pleasant scents that emanated from burning incense. Perfumery – the art of making perfumes- started in ancient Egypt with the use of species, but was relined by the Romans and Arabs. Below is a lovely infographic about perfume across the ages.
