The commercial flooring professionals at QuestMark believe it is our job to make sure your floor is taken care of which is why we created an infographic for property managers, business owners, and maintenance teams to reference when maintaining  a company’s floor. In January, we suggest you schedule an inspection and cleaning to start the year – repair holes, cracks, spalled concrete, aesthetic issues and safety concerns. You should also, order DIY products for patch, repair and maintenance. In March, schedule parking lot, traffic deck and sidewalk repairs or resurfacing after winter weather damage. Schedule maintenance during your summer holiday plant shutdowns in April. In May, it’s time to order your floor cleaning products for the year. June is a great time to add yellow safety striping and demarcations or logos to your floors. For the remaining Summer months, schedule maintenance during your winter holiday plant shutdowns as well as consider planning a Flooring 101 seminar. In September. schedule inspections to prepare budgets for upcoming flooring and safety projects. Review your gloss and dust proof warranty on polished concrete to make sure your floors are shiny and that you are cleaning them properly in October. Install walk-off mats to minimize slip and falls and to prevent winter salt damage on floors with SaltGuard in November. Finally, in December sign a Winter Price Freeze contract for work to be completed in the new year without a price increase.
